EK SUIT SIGHT

Sight Unit, Infantry, Trilux (3D Printed). Now in Affordable variant, Only £150!

As time goes on the real L2A2 (and the rarer L2A1) sights only march on up in value, so to help finish off the iconic cold war look of the SLR I’ve decided to make a 3D printed version that doesn’t break the bank.

This reproduction mounts to the standard dust cover of any SLR or FAL using magnets and also comes with an additional velcro securing strap for peace of mind whilst yomping your way across the field. So far this has been tested on:

  • King Arms L1A1
  • King Arms FAL
  • Ares L1A1

It should also work with other FAL variants but this cannot be guaranteed at this time, however I will update this list as more testing is undertaken.

Whilst I’m fairly good at 3D printing, I’ve not been able to recreate the 4x magnification of the original. However I have made it into a working 1x sight complete with an adjustable brightness pillar!

I’m also able to offer a variant of this sight with a picatinny mount, just in case any of you are mad enough to run this on another rifle (or you’re looking to give off 1P29 vibes from you AK!)

Early Prototype mounted on AK Sight Adaptor

The illuminated Pillar is powered by two small LR44 batteries which can be accessed by removing the five rear bolts (circled below) to allow the rear section of the sight to be slid out, affording access to the batteries.

Please note when re-installing these bolts only tighten them until a slight amount of resistance is felt, any more can lead to the stripping of threads!

Whilst on the subject of batteries, it is best practice to leave the brightness adjustment switch in line with the optic as this puts the electronics in a low power state (whilst still leaving the pillar illumination on).
